Property report defaults
Choose the layout, wording, and mobile choices your company starts with.
Open Property report settings. You need company settings access to make changes. These settings are edited on web.
Choose a section, review the preview, then select Save. One Save keeps changes from every section. Discard changes restores the last saved settings.
Choose the layout
In Sections, drag sections into order and turn optional sections on or off. Cover stays first. Inspection areas stays included, but you can move the group.
Edit the available section titles. A blank title removes that printed heading; the sidebar keeps a section name so you can still find it. Reset to Noma defaults restores the standard titles, order, and visibility in your draft. Select Save to keep it.
Inspection details chooses which property, conditions, utilities, and visit rows print. Hiding a row leaves its saved facts in place. Blank values add no printed row.
Choose page details
Open Header & footer to set Header, Report number, Inspection date, Footer, and Table of contents link.
Turning off Header or Footer also hides its child details. Their saved choices stay in place for later. The contents link is unavailable when Contents is hidden. Each report can set its own header and footer text.
Layout, detail visibility, and header/footer defaults copy into new visits. Existing reports and revisions keep their saved choices. Edit one report to change that report's copy.
Save wording and severities
| Section | Set |
|---|---|
| Opening notes | Save wording and choose the default opening note. |
| Pre-notes | Save notes, star the defaults, and drag them into order. |
| Severities | Set names, descriptions, and enabled choices. Keep at least one severity enabled. |
New reports copy the default notes. A report can edit, reorder, reset, or remove its copies. Later preset edits leave those copies unchanged.
Severity changes apply to working reports and mobile choices. Issued reports keep their saved wording. Review the preview before saving a change your team will use.
Set mobile quick responses
Open Pre-filled responses and choose No issues, Not present, or Inaccessible.
- Add comment: Set Finding title and Report text. The mobile action copies them into a finding.
- No comment: Update the area's status without adding a finding or report text. Saved wording stays available if you turn comments back on.
No issues marks an area complete. Not present and Inaccessible mark it uninspectable. Reset this response restores Noma's wording for that response. Select Save to keep your choices.
