Mark up photos
Point out report details with arrows, boxes, and captions.
Choose your inspector type
Open a report photo to use the shared property and termite photo editor. Select its pencil button on web, or select the photo on mobile.
Add a mark
Select Arrow or Box to add one in the photo's center. You can also drag either tool onto the detail you want to mark.
Select a mark to adjust it:
| To | Action |
|---|---|
| Move it | Drag the mark. |
| Resize or aim it | Drag its handles. |
| Change its color | Choose blue, red, yellow, white, or black. |
| Remove it | Use the selected mark's trash button. |
| Return to the tools | Select the back arrow in the color controls. |
Use Zoom in, Zoom out, or Fit to inspect a detail. Delete or Backspace removes a selected mark.
Pinch to zoom. Drag the zoomed photo to see another part. Select a thumbnail to change photos; dragging the main photo does not switch images.
Rotate, undo, or reset
| Control | Effect |
|---|---|
| Rotate | Turn the photo clockwise. |
| Undo | Reverse the last markup or rotation change on this photo. |
| Redo on web | Restore the last change you undid. |
| Reset | Remove all marks and restore the original rotation. |
On web, use Command+Z or Ctrl+Z to undo. Use Command+Shift+Z, Ctrl+Shift+Z, or Ctrl+Y to redo.
Reset and photo Undo leave the caption unchanged. To change words, edit the caption.
Keep the result
Select Done, or Go back when returning to a web finding. Saved photo edits save automatically. Photos added to a draft stay with it until you save the finding.
Noma keeps the original photo for Reset. Markup changes do not replace photos in a PDF already issued.
