Voice and findings
Use Noma AI to turn speech into findings and find saved comments.
Choose your inspector type
Use voice in the mobile app to record findings in English. Speech recognition runs on the phone and works offline once its model is ready. AI cleanup, saved-comment search, and termite Fill by voice need a connection.
Record findings
Open an inspection area, select Add comment → Speak, and record your observation. Select Done. An existing finding also has Speak.
Noma cleans clear dictation errors, punctuation, and filler. It can apply spoken edits and choose a severity from your company's enabled levels. Review the words and severity; you can change either.
The words remain if online cleanup fails or the phone is offline. Use Retry when offered. Undo restores the text and severity from before recording. New findings use Save finding; existing findings follow their normal local save path.
Open a termite finding, then select Fill by voice. Describe one finding and its recommended work. Select Done, review the form, then select Save.
| Spoken detail | Result to review |
|---|---|
| What you found and where | Finding text; an empty Location or Classification can also be filled. Existing selections stay in place. |
| Recommended work | Main recommendation, a stated alternative, and supporting notes. |
| A price, range, or pricing label | The matching recommendation price choice. An unstated price stays empty. |
| Include this work with another finding | A proposed link to that finding's recommendation, when it is eligible. |
| A clear correction | Updated wording in the current draft. Unmentioned details and photos stay. |
Review prices and linked work before saving. Voice fills the form; it does not create invoice charges. Undo restores the form before the last voice result. A failed fill keeps your prior form and offers Retry when available.
Find saved wording by voice
Say “Add comment” followed by its title, then select Done. For termite text, you can use its saved number, title, or both. Noma matches the request to your saved entries, including shortened names and likely speech errors.
Property uses your reusable comments. Termite uses the Text library. The chosen comment supplies saved wording; the search does not rewrite the library entry. Complete any word choices before inserting a property comment.
For termite findings, you can add details after the comment request, such as a location or price. Noma uses the saved wording and your spoken changes to fill the draft. Review the result before Save. If those extra changes fail, Partially filled means the saved comment was kept but the added changes need your review. Undo restores the earlier form for ten seconds when offered.
If no comment matches, use manual search or try another title. Failed searches keep the finding unchanged.
