Choose what customers enter
Set phone requirements and let customers name other people who should receive the report.
Open Booking form
Open Booking → Services, select the service, and open Booking form.
These settings apply to the selected service. They work the same way for property and termite inspections.
Set phone and report-recipient options
| Setting | When on | When off |
|---|---|---|
| Require phone number | The person booking must enter a valid phone number. | Their phone number is optional. |
| Allow additional report recipients | The person booking can add people who should receive the finished report. | The extra report-recipient fields are hidden. |
Set the switches, then select Save.
Phone requirements apply to the booker. Additional report recipients only need a name and email.
Booker, report recipients, and billing person
| Person | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Booker | The person who completes the booking and receives the appointment details. |
| Report recipient | Someone who should receive the finished inspection report. The booker is included by default. |
| Bill to | The person named for billing. This can be different from the booker. |
Report copies and appointment messages are separate
Additional report recipients receive the finished report. Appointment updates and reminders go to the booker.
What customers enter
Customer contact details and role
The form asks for the booker's first name, last name, email, and phone number when required.
Under Your role, they choose Property owner, Buyer, Agent, or Other to describe their part in the visit.
For Agent or Other, they can also enter a company name.
Notes and access instructions
Customers can add notes for the inspector.
Earlier in the flow, Access instructions (optional) lets them explain gate codes, lockboxes, parking, pets, or other access details.
Additional report recipients
When enabled, customers can add up to 10 extra report recipients.
Each extra recipient needs a first name, last name, and email address. Customers can edit or remove a recipient before they confirm.
Billing person
On the review page, Bill to starts with the booker.
The customer can select Change to choose an entered person or add Someone else. For someone else, they enter a first name, last name, and email, with an optional company name. Select Done to close the billing fields before confirming.
Choose report recipients separately from the billing person.
Free bookings do not ask for a billing person. A booking with Price to be confirmed keeps the billing choice for the later invoice.
Check the saved form
Select Save, then open the service's public page.
Move through the property and time steps to view the saved form. The editor preview shows draft fields with sample details.
