Set appointment start times

Offer selected start times for a service, with custom times for individual inspectors.

Before you start

Open Booking → Services, select the service, and open Availability.

Start times set when a visit may begin. The full service, add-ons, and buffers must also fit within the inspector's work hours.

Set default appointment start times

Turn on start-time limits

Turn on Limit when appointments can start.

When this is off, Noma can offer available starts in 15-minute steps.

Edit Default times

Under Default times, choose which starts to offer on each weekday.

Use the add control to add a time and the remove control to remove one. Times use 15-minute steps.

A day with no start times is Not offered.

Save the service

Select Save.

Inspectors using Default times now use this set of starts.

Set an inspector's start times

  1. Find the person under Inspector times.
  2. Change Default times to Custom times.
  3. Edit the times for that inspector's week.
  4. Select Apply times.
  5. Select Save on the service.

If the inspector already uses custom times, use the edit action beside their schedule.

Custom times replace the whole default week

Custom times set every day of that inspector's week. An empty day means the inspector does not offer this service that day.

Return an inspector to the defaults

  1. Find the inspector under Inspector times.
  2. Change Custom times to Default times.
  3. Select Save.

The inspector now follows the service's default week, including later changes to it.

Inspectors with custom times keep their own schedule.

How time zones affect start times

Start times use each inspector's working time zone.

For example, a 9 AM default means 9 AM in the selected inspector's working time zone. The customer sees the matching time in the property's time zone.

Check the inspector's work hours and time zone if the public page shows an unexpected time.

Turn off selected start times

Turn off Limit when appointments can start and select Save.

Noma offers starts in 15-minute steps where the other booking rules allow them. Turning the limit back on restores your saved start times.

If a listed start is missing

Check these in order:

  1. The inspector works that date, including any date override.
  2. The entire visit and its buffers fit within one time range.
  3. The inspector does not have an overlapping visit.
  4. Minimum notice and booking frequency still allow the time.
  5. The inspector uses the default or custom week you edited.

Opening a date with an override does not add start times to an empty day.

See How booking times work for an example of the combined rules.
