Understand how ranges are charged
Noma selects the one range that contains the property's square feet.
Each range sets the full service price. Noma charges the amount in the matching range once.
| Property size | Example price |
|---|---|
| 1–2,000 sq ft | $400 |
| 2,001–3,000 sq ft | $500 |
| Above 3,000 sq ft | Price to be confirmed |
With these example settings:
- A 2,000-square-foot property costs $400.
- A 2,001-square-foot property costs $500.
- A 3,500-square-foot property needs a price follow-up.
Use Price to be confirmed
This option is available on the final square-foot range.
The customer sees Price to be confirmed. They can still choose a time and complete the booking.
Noma schedules the visit and creates a staff follow-up to set the price. An invoice is not created from an unknown total.
Unknown and free prices
Price to be confirmed means staff will set the price later. If a service or selected add-on uses this option, the total stays unknown. A price of 0 means free.
Add-ons and the total
A selected add-on adds its price to the service price. Square-foot add-ons use the same property size supplied during booking.
For example, a $400 service plus a $75 add-on totals $475.
A customer's chosen add-ons can also add time. That affects which visits fit, even when the extra price is 0.
Property size and corrections
The booking page tries to fill in the property size. The customer can enter or correct the square feet before continuing.
The page updates the price for the current size and add-ons. A missing size must be entered before the customer can continue.
If the price changes before confirmation, the customer must review the updated booking.
Prices and online payment
You can save a price before customer payment setup is complete.
| Total at booking | Result |
|---|---|
| A known amount above 0 | Noma creates an invoice. |
| 0 | The visit is free; no zero-dollar invoice is created. |
| Price to be confirmed | The visit is scheduled and staff need to set the price. |
A payment link also depends on confirmation settings and whether the invoice can accept online payment.
Change a price later
Edit the price and select Save.
New bookings use the saved price. Existing visits keep the price saved when they were booked.
See Manage add-ons or Fix booking problems for the next step.
