Invoices
Bill authorized work
Invoice work from a signed termite authorization.
Open Jobs, select the job, and open Billing. Signed termite work has its own billing group, separate from the inspection.
Use the web to create authorized-work invoices and manage their remaining charges. The mobile app can show these saved invoices; its Create invoice action bills the inspection.
Choose signed work
- Select Create new invoice and choose the signed authorization under Invoice for.
- Review the available signed recommendations and charges. Remove a row to leave it for a later invoice. Undo or Restore items brings it back.
- Open an item's name to check its signed scope and price.
- Enter each Amount, choose Customer, and add a payer memo if needed.
- Select Next, review the email and internal note, then select Create only or Create & send email.
Installments and final charges
The signed price is the limit. Invoice part now and the rest later. Enter missing prices. Signed $0 items keep their zero-dollar amount.
| To | Select |
|---|---|
| Finish with a smaller total | The item's Options → Finish invoicing this item. |
| Skip an uninvoiced item | Do not invoice this item, then Do not invoice. |
| Stop further charges | Stop invoicing this item, then confirm Stop invoicing. Saved invoices and payments stay. |
| Reopen eligible remaining work | Make available to invoice, then Make available. |
Reaching the full signed price finishes invoicing automatically.
- Voiding: may reopen the linked completion decision. Check the remaining amount before billing again.
- Replacing: review Options → Finish invoicing this item. Finished work starts checked; clear it to leave the remaining amount available.
Authorized-work invoices contribute to company revenue and debt. They do not lock the inspection report.
