Fix booking problems
Check the settings that hide services, block times, or change what customers can do.
Check the saved public booking page
These checks are for the inspection company's team.
If you are a customer, contact the company shown on your booking page. See Book an inspection or Reschedule or cancel a booking for steps you can take yourself.
Save your edits, then open the public page from Booking. The saved page checks real availability; the editor preview uses sample data.
The public page or a service is missing
Check these in order:
- Company access: the company has access to Noma and its first setup is complete.
- Saved URL: open the current company or service link. If you changed a URL, update the shared link.
- Visibility: turn on the service's public-list switch if it should appear on the company page.
- Inspection setup: check the property template or termite report type.
- Service status: a deleted service cannot accept new bookings.
Supplemental and reinspection termite services are internal-only. They cannot use public booking because they need an earlier inspection.
A hidden service is different: it may still accept bookings through its direct link.
See Create and manage services or Set up and share your booking page.
No times are available
Choose one expected date and time, then check these settings in order.
Check the inspector
Confirm that the person is active and has the Inspector role.
If the customer selected one inspector, try Show all available times when that option is offered.
Check hours for that date
Open the inspector's Work hours.
Check the time zone, weekday ranges, breaks, and any time off or changed work hours for that date.
An override replaces the work hours for that date.
Check the visit length and buffers
Add the service duration, selected add-on time, and before and after buffers.
The whole block must fit within work hours and avoid existing visits. A start can look free while the visit's end or buffer does not fit.
Check service limits
Review minimum notice and booking frequency.
Check every active daily, weekly, and monthly limit. Also check whether the limit covers each inspector or the entire company.
Check appointment start times
Review appointment start times.
An inspector's custom week replaces the default week. An empty day has no starts. Opening that day through a date override does not add start times.
Check the booking window
The public calendar covers 60 days, including today.
Save any corrected settings, reopen the saved public page, and check the same property and add-ons again.
An inspector is missing
Check that the team member is active and has the Inspector role.
For an inspector with no available times, follow the checks above.
The inspector picker may be skipped when there is only one choice.
Times look wrong
Compare the time zone shown on the booking calendar with the inspector's time zone.
Work hours and start-time rules use the inspector's time zone. Customer times use the property's time zone.
Check that the address is correct. If the property still shows the wrong time zone, contact darrel@noma.so with the page and a description of the problem.
The price looks wrong
- Check the property square feet entered during booking.
- Check which add-ons are selected.
- Review the saved price ranges, including their boundaries.
- Check whether the final range requires a price follow-up.
- Save and reopen the service page if you were viewing unsaved changes.
Noma charges the full price in the matching square-foot range once.
Existing bookings keep the price saved when they were booked.
See Set service prices.
There is no payment link
Check Show payment link under the service's Confirmation screen.
Then check whether online payments are ready and whether the booking has an open invoice for a known positive amount.
Free bookings and bookings with Price to be confirmed do not have an initial payable invoice link. An invoice that is no longer open may also have no link.
A confirmed visit stays scheduled while payment is pending.
See Control payment links and booking changes.
Customers cannot cancel or reschedule
Check Disable cancellation and Disable rescheduling. When a switch is on, that customer action is disabled.
The visit must also still allow changes. Started, cancelled, or otherwise no-longer-scheduled visits cannot use the normal customer change flow.
For a cancellation in progress, wait for the final result before treating the time as free.
See Reschedule or cancel a booking.
The property step will not continue
Check that the address is complete and the square feet are a valid whole number.
Wait for the current price and time to finish updating. If the check fails, select Try again. Correct the address or size if the current values are wrong.
A time or price changed during booking
The final confirmation checks current availability and booking details.
If the time was taken, choose another time. If service details changed, review the refreshed price and add-ons before confirming again.
Times remain open to other customers until a booking is confirmed.
